Diane Rhine grew up in Dover, Delaware and moved to Toms River in 1971. She graduated cum laude from Trinity University in Washington DC with a BA in American History. Diane worked as a history teacher at Toms River High School South for several years before beginning her real estate career in 1973. From 1979-2000 she owned and operated Citta & Cobb, Inc., and focused on residential real estate sales in Ocean County. In 2000 Diane joined Rosanne Citta to form Citta Rhine LLC, REALTORS. She manages the Toms River office and is actively involved in selling and listing residential real estate.
Diane’s community involvement and achievements demonstrates her personal stake in the growth and improvement of Ocean County. As a United Way volunteer she has served as President, Finance Chair, Admissions Chair, Fund Distribution Committee, Keel Club Committee and perpetual fund raiser during her many years as a Director and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in 1995. She was also recognized as Citizen of the Year by the Ocean County Girl Scout Council in 1995. Beginning in 1996 Diane has served as a Director of the Ocean First Foundation. This organization has contributed more than 17 million dollars to non-profit organizations.
Professionally, Diane served as President of the Ocean County Board of Realtors and President of the New Jersey Shore Multiple Listing Service. In 1997 Diane was elected to the Board of Directors of OceanFirst Bank. She currently chairs both the Compensation and Trust Committees.
Diane’s husband Paul is a C.P.A. with Cobb, Monroe & Rhine, another well established local company. Her two sons both live in Toms River. Jay, a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and his wife, Ginny, are the parents of 2 beautiful children Josh and Grace. Jay is employed with Lucent Technologies. Jared, a graduate of the College of New Jersey, works as a Sales Representative at Citta Rhine LLC, REALTORS.
